This week HackerPen released a few features to make scheduling mock interviews more seamless:
- solve app crashing caused by WebRTC
- better email invitation
- “JOIN” button for upcoming interviews
solve app crashing caused by WebRTC
HackerPen experienced a major app crashing and the web browser got stuck when loading an interview. We have resolved the crashing problem, but there are still a few more improvements to come for real-time connection!

better email invitation
We improved our invitation email experience when a mock interview is scheduled. Interviewers and interviewees will get an embedded calendar invite as part of the email, making it easier to put a mock interview schedule on the calendar.
“JOIN” button for upcoming interviews
We added a JOIN button for each interview so that it’s easier for users to navigate between interviews.
